Examples of Duties
- Provides technical support in consultation with crew leaders on site plans, utility reviews, and locations; performs inspections; ensures an adequate supply of inventories of all parts and equipment.
- Transports equipment and sets up safety zones; instructs staff for job preparation; fixes problems and handles maintenance; cleans up tools, job sites, and safety equipment.
- Checks and maintains equipment, to include fueling; restocks inventory, parts, and supplies.
- Monitors completion of daily assignments.
- Assists crew leader with administrative duties.
Experience and Training
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Two (2) years of experience as a Utility Services Worker or in a similar position is required.
Certificates and Licenses Required
- Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with tanker endorsement or ability to obtain prior to employment.
- Water Class D license issued by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ).
- Wastewater Collection I license issued by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ).
