JOB OVERVIEW
The Senior UI Designer will work directly with our talented engineering team to deliver clean and modern UI designs for golf simulators, web applications, and hardware device screens. You will have the opportunity to influence the full user experience, beginning with wireframes and mockups and ending with a fully polished product. A successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a complete understanding of relevant design concepts in addition to possessing a strong portfolio of work. Minimum 5 years of professional experience is required.
This position reports to the CTO and allows you the hybrid flexibility to work from your home office with weekly meetings in our San Diego HQ.
As a Senior UI Designer, you will have an opportunity to:
- Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers.
- Perform behavior and usability research to determine the best user experience.
- Work with other UI designers to ensure a consistent look and feel is present across our UI ecosystem.
- Collaborate with project and product managers to define UI flow and behavior in JIRA cards.
- Illustrate design ideas using wireframes, storyboards, process flows, and mockups using Adobe XD.
- Design responsive, engaging, and visually appealing user interfaces for a wide range of screen resolutions and applications.
- Create graphic user interface elements such as menus, tabs, and widgets.
- Provide design specifications to the engineering team, including color palettes, fonts, and pixel values.
- Package and deliver UI assets to engineers.
- Review finished products to ensure UI and UX vision has been implemented according to the design.
You should have:
- Minimum 5 years' professional experience designing wireframes, storyboards, process flows, and mockups for multiple platforms such as web, mobile, tablet, embedded devices and desktop PCs.
- Strong portfolio of work to demonstrate artistic style and vision.
- Strong familiarity of modern design concepts with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or other visual design and wire-framing tools.
- Up to date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.
- Ability to present your designs and pitch your solutions to various stakeholders.
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
Minimum Education Required
- Bachelors
- Commensurate experience may substitute for Education requirement (Applies only up to a Bachelors)
- Required field of study Graphic Design or related field

Pay Range:
$88,800.00 - $139,000.00
The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
