Job Description
Are you passionate about recruiting top-tier engineering talent and building high-performing teams? If so, COMC has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Technical Recruiter (temporary to permanent) tojoin our HR team!This role will report to the HR Director and be responsible for helping COMC identify and bring aboard exceptional engineers who will shape the future of our e-commerce software platform. The incumbent in this role will perform duties as an employee during a 3–6-month time frame and have high visibility in recruiting a large volume of engineers while interfacing with the Director of Technology, and mentoring junior talent.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with hiring managers to define technical job requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Source, engage, and attract top engineering talent through various channels, including job boards, social media, referrals, and networking.
- Screen, interview, and evaluate candidates to ensure they meet the technical and cultural needs of the organization.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from initial contact to offer negotiation and onboarding.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external recruiting partners and agencies, as necessary.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the recruitment process.
- Act as a brand ambassador for COMC, promoting our culture and values to potential candidates.
- Contribute to building a diverse bench and inclusive workforce by ensuring equal opportunity hiring practices.
- Create sustainable staffing strategies and establish best practices for the current and future state of the organization.
- Leverage technology to deploy methods of automation to increase staff to fill metrics while reducing manual processes.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. Relevant industry certifications and experience will also be considered.
- Five to ten years’ experience in technical recruitment, particularly in engineering roles.
- A deep understanding of software development and e-commerce technology.
- Strong sourcing and networking skills to identify and engage top engineering talent.
- Exceptional interviewing and assessment abilities.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and recruitment software.
- A collaborative and results-oriented approach to team dynamics.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Additional Qualifications
- Knowledgeable about professional sporting industry (NBA, NFL, MLB etc.)
- Deep knowledge of trading card industry and collecting experience strong preferred
