Job Summary

**Hybrid Work Environment - Must reside in Hawaii **

Pay Range: $82,314 - $141,703

Note: Individuals typically begin between the minimum to middle of the pay range

The Sr. Technical Product Manager leads the design and delivery of new capabilities from conception to launch. This position plays a pivotal role in driving innovation, efficiency, and successful solution design within our healthcare IT projects, with a focus on leveraging modern technologies. Ensuring that all product development initiatives align with healthcare industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices, the Sr. Technical Product Manager is accountable for delivering products that provide the most value to stakeholders. In addition, the Sr. Technical Product Manager is responsible for mentoring other Product Managers, working independently without much supervision and able to present to executives.


Minimum Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree in related technical/business areas and eight years of relevant technical and/or business experience across multiple technologies and business functions. May substitute a higher-level degree in related technical/business areas and less work experience.
  2. Strong interpersonal, relational skills, and team player approach to align various departments around product vision and delivery.
  3. Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a collaborative and empowering management approach to guide and inspire cross-functional teams.
  4. Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1.  Stakeholder Management:
    • Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, understanding their needs, and ensuring clear communication throughout the product development lifecycle.
    • Understand stakeholders' vision, goals, mission, gaps, and opportunities and deliver Technical Products that are aligned with stakeholders' needs.
    • Level set stakeholders' expectations and facilitate the art of the possible.
    • Facilitate and mediate cross-functional teams to define and communicate a feasible and clear product vision.
    • Lead and mentor stakeholders and other Product Managers on the product lifecycle, processes, and tools.
    • Present and communicate with executive level leadership.
  2.  Solution Design:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into innovative and scalable solution designs that address the unique challenges of the healthcare industry.
    • Develop solutions to complex problems across multiple teams that meet standards and current architecture.
    • Create standard process, templates, and methodologies to continuously improve customer experience, quality, and time to launch.
  3.  Collaboration:
    • Support Cloud Center of Excellence to identify opportunities for cloud integration and design cloud-based solutions that enhance efficiency, security, and scalability.
    • Collaborate with architecture, agile teams, and project management office to develop standards, processes, and continuous improvement opportunities.
    • Support product owners, program managers, solution delivery managers and agile teams for strategic direction, prioritization, and business alignment.
    • Mentor and develop product team members and create product tools, templates, and processes.
  4.  Product Roadmap:
    • Develop and maintain product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, technology trends, and customer needs.
    • Drive high level requirements from various stakeholders to align and prioritize needs that will deliver the highest value.
    • Support and cover for product owners as needed with writing product requirements, prioritizing backlogs, and collaborating with agile teams.
  5.  Enterprise Agile Leadership:
    • Support the Enterprise Agile Initiative, providing strategic direction, fostering a culture of agility, and driving continuous improvement across IT product development.
    • Support and enable product management lifecycle and agile methodologies across various teams.
  6.  Vendor Evaluation:
    • Evaluate and recommend 3rd party vendor solutions to determine fit with HMSA business capability needs.
    • Review and approve solutions put forward by our sourcing partners to ensure alignment with product roadmaps.
    • Lead discussions and negotiations with vendors.
  7.  Performance Outcomes:
    • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for products and initiatives, monitor progress, and take data-driven actions to optimize performance.
  8.  Performs all other miscellaneous responsibilities and duties as assigned or directed
