Leidos Defense Systems is seeking a talented Senior Technical ELINT Analyst to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems involving foreign weapons systems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, LDS provides responsive, cost-effective intelligence, engineering, scientific and IT solutions.
Job responsibilities/focus areas include:
- Perform technical ELINT analysis on complex multi-function radars in areas such as waveform identification and behavior, scan patterns and antenna beam characterization.
- Generate technical briefings, papers and reports to reflect technical ELINT analysis of foreign threat systems in a clear and concise manner.
- Work closely with government counterparts to rapidly and effectively answer critical questions regarding foreign threat system emissions.
Qualifications:
- Candidate must possess a BS in a STEM field from an ABET accredited program with 5+ years experience in the technical ELINT field. Five years of relevant ELINT experience can be used in lieu of BS degree.
- Proficiency in analysis tools such as MARTES, ESP, ASPEN, and/or CATS is required.
- Candidate must demonstrate competent technical skills in the field of ELINT, possess interpersonal skills, demonstrate strong attention to detail and have the desire to work on a highly focused technical team.
Candidate must be a resident of Huntsville, Alabama or be willing to relocate to the Huntsville, Alabama area.
Desired Skills:
- Additional consideration will be given to candidates with a working knowledge of radar fundamentals.
- Familiarity in MATLAB is preferred but not required.
Security Requirements:
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (as well as maintain) a Final Top Secret/SSBI Clearance with CI poly.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $68,900.00 - $124,550.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
