Senior Tax Accountant. US Citizenship is required to apply. This is a remote-telework. Salary is up to 115K with a possible sign-on bonus depending on experience.
Prepares and reviews federal and state income tax returns and quarterly estimated and extension payment computations;
Supports the Company’s corporate income tax provision process for compliance with US GAAP/SEC reporting as required by ASC 740;
Coordinates closely with Tax Accounting and Reporting team to prepare timely and accurate quarterly and annual tax provision and related disclosures;
Minimum Requirements:
BA/BS in Accounting or related field
US Citizenship is required
5 years of experience in income tax compliance and income tax accounting reporting under ASC 740 with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; 3 years of experience with a Master’s degree in Accounting or related field or CPA; public accounting experience a plus
Knowledge of and experience working with tax forms and processing
Analytical Skills
Intermediate level proficiency of MS Office Suite mainly proficient I excel
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Effective interpersonal skills and engagement with peers, customers and managers
Assists with federal and state income tax audits, as necessary;
Files monthly, quarterly and annual non-income tax filings in a timely manner;
Researches developments in tax law to determine appropriate tax methods and identify tax savings opportunities for the Company;
Leads various special projects and assist with ad hoc tax assignments as needed in all areas of tax, including assistance with research & development studies, oversight of the fixed assets tax ledger and depreciation program, tax notice correspondence, etc. under the direction of the Senior Tax manager;
Directly supports the Senior Tax manager and serves as lead for cross-functional team members to help them optimize their performance by providing financial and operational information and analysis
