SUMMARY:
Quality Computer Services, Inc. is a Pittsburgh based computer sales and service organization. Established in 1989 we provide outsourced IT Support Services to small and medium size businesses in the Pittsburgh region. Our support services include but are not limited to both remote and on-site service, help desk support, hardware service and vendor management.
DESCRIPTION:
We are currently seeking to fill a Senior Support Engineer Position. We are looking for a self-motivated individual to perform remote and on-site support services to our client base. The position requires a high level of technical knowledge that is able to be applied to a customer’s technical issues and problems. The Senior Support Engineer will be responsible to assist other less technical staff members in resolving issues or developing technical solutions for our company’s customers. The position requires the ability to effectively research and design technical solutions for customer opportunities. A minimum of five years of experience is required.
No relocation assistance available.
REQUIRED SKILL:
- Must have reliable transportation. Requires going to customer locations to provide on-site service. May travel up to 40 miles within the Pittsburgh area. The service area we cover is as follows: North to Butler, East to Greensburg, West to Steubenville Ohio and South to Uniontown. QCSI will reimburse for mileage, parking, and tolls.
- Candidate will need a minimum of an Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- Network + and MCSE are preferred but not required.
- At least 5 years of experience is required.
- Experience with Microsoft Server, Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 are required.
- Experience with Microsoft Exchange and Firewall / Security Appliance Configuration required.
- Must be professional with good communication skills, for supporting other engineers and clients.
- Must be able to properly document all work performed in ticketing database.
