Summary:
IP Pathways is searching for an Associate Product Manager join our exceptionally talented and
growing team! If you are curious and have a constant itch to learn, this may be a great position
for you.
This position is based out of our headquarters in Urbandale, Iowa. This role offers the
opportunity to work with several different technologies including in-house IP Pathways
platforms used by customers and partners. This role is a salaried, full-time position and offers a
convenient and flexible work schedule as well as an excellent work-life balance.
Responsibilities for Associate Product Manager:
- Willingness to wear multiple hats on a small team
- Work hands-on to deliver new capabilities across the lifecycle of our product, from
- Distinguish and communicate urgent improvements and important product features
- Proactively communicate goals to stakeholders and manage expectations of delivery
- Work with marketing and other business teams to communicate product capabilities
- Develop relationships to bridge the gap between the business and developers
- Build tech alongside prolific engineers and designers, and then take a step back to
- Define and drive product team culture and best practices
- Identify individual and team strengths and exploit those to elevate the team towards
- Independently initiate research, learning, and innovation as continuous improvement of
Qualifications for Associate Product Manager:
- Experience in product management or requirements intake
- Experience in building rapport quickly, build team collaboration, etc.
- Provide ongoing communication and follow-up, etc.
- Experience with visual design tools to communicate ideas
- Experience working with basic front-end and back-end web technologies
- Demonstrated ability to focus on the task at hand, despite uncertainty and ambiguity
Nice to have:
- Experience with a Managed Service Provider
- Experience delivering formal and informal presentations
- Experience using Jira, Confluence, and other prioritization and knowledge management
- Familiarity with software development frameworks, methodologies, and best practices
- Demonstrated success decomposing a problem into addressable component parts
- Ability to envision vague and developing goals within a large time horizon
- Effective and organized executor of minute tasks for the accomplishment of large goals
