Position Summary

The Sr Studio Artist is someone who is detail-oriented and collaborative, with a great eye for design. This position works closely with print vendors, Art Directors, Designers and Project Managers, providing daily support for the Creative Department in creating files for a wide variety of projects. The file types include, but are not limited to, print ads, social media, packaging, event collateral, web banners, digital signage, emails and web sites.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Executes production for a wide variety of projects

• Assists Creative team with all production needs, including: creating well-structured and organized files, pre-flighting final print files, creating and sizing final images, retouching, creating PSD files for emails, banners, and other digital formats, organization of images, production of presentation materials and mockups, securing stock images and materials
• Leverages current technology to craft simple solutions to complex problems 
• Delivers quality files, including ensuring that proofreading, spell-checking and proper pre-flight procedures are followed
• Manages own time effectively across multiple jobs adhering to production and project schedules in a fast-paced environment
• Provides guidance and assistance to freelance, junior production resources, new hires and projects 
• Provides support for administrative functions such as: maintaining clean, organized server files, developing efficient and streamlined production processes, creating group reports/documentation, reports for billing

Position Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field
• 5+ years experience in related field
• Advanced understanding of the principles of print production
• Expert in Adobe Creative Cloud
• The ability to deliver quality work within fast-paced timelines
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and an ability to contribute in a collaborate team environment

• Experience working in an agency
