Senior Strategy Manager

What is the job about?  

In this role you will work closely with the Head of Strategy & Transformation and the rest of Water Utility LT in developing and implementing major strategic initiatives within the Water Utility division. You will oversee and support complex, global projects across the value chain.

Your main responsibilities include:  

• Acting as an in-division consultant delivering concrete strategic projects for the business – in a leading or a supporting role depending on the setup of the specific project.
• Drive strategy formulation in connection with group, divisional or other strategy formulation processes
• Facilitate the operationalization of the strategy and its overall initiatives in close collaboration with senior leaders, including complex problem solving.
• Evaluate requirements to realize the strategy in terms of costs, investments, competencies, etc.
• Provide support to inorganic growth initiatives as required.

Your background 

We imagine that you have:   

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, likely in strategy, management, business, economics or similar field of study.
• An ability to operate out of the Brookshire, TX facility in a hybrid function
• Solid experience with formulating and deploying strategies.
• 3 + years consultancy experience with the ability to deal with various functions, global stakeholders and senior level leaders.
• Solid project management experience.
• High level PowerPoint skill a must
• Experience with problem solving in strategic projects.
• Used to working to deadlines and budgets.
• Able to handle many different projects and priorities at the same time
• A willingness to travel up internationally if necessary. As a result, candidates should be able to maintain valid identification.
