This is a hybrid remote role which will be in the office 2-3 days/week ideally. Core location must be within commuting distance of Shutterfly Manufacturing Facility - locations include: Fort Mill, SC, Plano, TX, Tempe, AZ, Minneapolis, MN.
Shutterfly is looking for a highly motivated and tactical leader with deep knowledge in Postal Strategy who enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams across a family of brands and external partners to fulfill our customers' needs. This role will also work with our Shutterfly Business Solutions team to support business to business (B2B) customer objectives.
What You'll Do Here:

• Act as primary party responsible for postal solutions and management.
• Manage and maintain the relationships with carriers. Provide postal support to ensure alignment and collaboration with internal cross-functional teams to maximize global logistics processes, improve transactional efficiency, and minimize costs.
• Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the postal network, systems, and software. Identify, measure, report on key performance indicators.
• Develop, implement, and control the strategies, objectives, processes, and procedures to effectively execute project-related accountabilities in alignment with overall Shutterfly Business Solutions objectives.
• Provide oversight and management that includes freight carrier negotiations, services, expenses, and associated logistics legal & statutory compliance requirements.
• Collect and analyze pertinent spend data including invoices, pricing files, TNT files, and completing reconciliation reports with emphasis on identifying cost reduction opportunities. Report findings to senior management through executive summaries, presentations, charts & graphs.
• Complete MSAs and SOWs for vendors and carriers

The Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of related experience.
• Subject matter expert (SME) in analyzing and interpreting USPS Mailers Scorecard and Informed Visibility data.
• Collaborative leader with ability to influence others.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills and can successfully multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong program management and analytical skills, delivering results with attention to detail and superior accuracy.
• Experience using Microsoft Office suite of products and Postal Presort software.

It is helpful, but not required to have:

• Knowledge of print production process and mailing operations including direct experience with a mail house or commercial printer with mailing operations.
• Understands USPS mail categories and classes including; drop shipment procedures, expedited services, international mailing, eVS environment, small equipment procurement, and mail piece design.
• Ability to make tactical, customer-focused decisions while maintaining composure in a fast-paced environment.
