Reporting to the Director, Strategic Finance and Revenue Planning, OneSpan is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the organization's Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. This highly visible role will partner with our go to market (GTM) teams to provide support for revenue planning, analysis and forecast updates. This role will impact decision-making processes related to achieving our revenue goals through evaluation of revenue opportunities. The ideal candidate will display high business acumen and analytical thinking, demonstrate proficiency with detailed financial models and data management, and be able to work effectively across the organization including executive level communication skills.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain the corporate revenue forecasting model, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive accurate revenue forecasts that align with overall company strategy and plan.
- Ensure that real-time forecast updates incorporate trends and current/future business strategies and identify risks in achieving plan.
- Conduct revenue analyses of booking trends at the business unit, product and regional level while connecting those trends to the different channels and markets.
- Conduct thorough analysis of ACV and Bookings, including trend analysis, variance explanations, and performance metrics to monitor overall business performance.
- Review sales data trends and provide recommendations to management.
- Monitor Sales OpEx budget and forecast and make recommendations to management.
- Assist FP&A team in completing the monthly and quarterly financial reporting packets for the M-Team, Board of Directors, and Investors.
- Participate in annual planning process including bookings and revenue planning.
- Support the Finance team on special projects, ad-hoc analyses and requests as needed.
- Continue to drive process improvement and scalability by developing repeatable business, operational and financial processes widely understood by all key stakeholders.
- Innovate on metrics that add insight, bringing best practices from across and outside the organization.
Requirements
- BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related business field. Advanced degree or certification preferred.
- 5+ years of finance experience, experience with SAAS preferred.
- Experience at the Big 4's (KPMG, Deloitte, PWC, EY) is preferred.
- Strong understanding of SAAS metrics including but not limited to ARR, CAC, ACV, LTV
- Experience with Adaptive Planning or other Enterprise Planning Platform
- Knowledge of Tableau a plus, or other data visualization tools
- Ability to analyze large datasets and construct a story in order to gain senior leadership support.
- Detail oriented & thorough, with ability to think "big picture" and understand the key trends and levers that drive the business.
