We have a great opportunity for a Senior Staff Video Engineer/Researcher with experience in Video.
Position Summary:
Staff Engineer will be a senior member of the team designing video algorithms. You will be responsible for applied research in specific video post-processing algorithms given the requirements of the targeted system. You will also need to drive this towards a very cost-effective solution and balance the trade-off between picture quality and cost. A close interaction with the hardware designer is to be expected in the final stages of the algorithm design.

Responsibilities:
• Contribute to video post-processing innovation
• Develop reference C code for the video algorithm
• Document the algorithm
• Provide demonstrations/simulations
• Make cost versus picture quality trade-offs
• Analyze system requirements
• Provide support to VLSI design team
• Provide test vectors for VLSI designer
• Provide default settings
• Work in a team
Qualifications Required:
• MSEE or PHD
• 8 years in algorithm design
• Solid understanding of many video processing algorithms
• Skilled in C programming
• Proven ability to work independently, but also in a team
• Highly motivated
• Excellent communication skills
Highly Desired:
• 10 years in algorithm and architecture design
• Expert in video post-processing and digital signal processing
• Skilled in Matlab
