Senior Specialist needed for a cohesive HR team of 5. First point of contact for all payroll and benefit processes for this 150 employee NYC based firm. Small offices in NJ and PA as well as one off employees throughout US. Assist with onboarding new employees with payroll and benefits enrollment. Execute the entire semi-monthly payroll process from start to finish. Administration of employee benefit programs including: medical, dental, vision, life, Aflac, short and long-term disability, 401(k) and profit sharing plan, health savings account, transit, pension plan, long-term care, and workers compensation. Handle day to day benefits administration and help with audits, open enrollment, and other benefits projects. First point of contact with healthcare vendors, brokers, and employees at all levels. Manage benefit invoices and resolve issues, working directly with vendors and finance team. Heavy focus on administrative duties and processes. Work on other exciting HR people operations projects as the arise. Role is in office 3 days per week and Great work/life balance.
Qualifications
Completed BA/BS degree required. Must have 7+ years of experience in HR, specifically with payroll and benefits. Must understand and be able to execute basic payroll practices including payroll tax, voiding/reissuing checks, retroactive pay, etc. Experience with benefits administration and open enrollment experience is required. Must have strong Excel capabilities. Must be detail-oriented and have experience improving processes. Baseline understanding of general HR practices and laws. Will need to be organized and efficient in independently completing daily tasks. Collaborative team spirit and no-task-is-too-small attitude is required.
Compensation: $100-110K plus Bonus
