NaphCare has an excellent opportunity for a Senior Software Integration Specialist to join our Corporate Headquarters team on-site in Birmingham, AL 35216.
This is a full-time on-site position. No Visa sponsorships or transfers.
The objective of the Senior Software Integration Specialist is to successfully introduce, manage, train, and maintain the clinical and operational functionality of uniquely tailored versions of the TechCare EHR Solution's interface engine. The successful candidate will act as a liaison between customers, vendor partners, and NaphCare's EHR Development teams with a focus on driving the progression and productive use of TechCare to exchange data securely to and from 3rd party software systems. The position will report to the Director of Software Implementation in Birmingham, AL. Travel of up to 3 weeks a year can be expected.
The preferred candidate will have a proven history of large and small-scale Project Management. The ideal candidate also has basic database (eg Microsoft SQL) knowledge, has directed integrations relying on platforms such as FHIR, Rest, web services, other standard or custom APIs, and worked with data sets like HL7, XML, CSV or more.
Performance Expectations:
- Client facing liaison in-between EHR Development Team and Clinical Operations.
- Manage both existing interface projects and new partnerships.
- Define requirements, write test cases, and build data sets to facilitate successful integrations.
- Report multiple projects statuses regularly to Project Directors, NaphCare Leadership, and Client Stakeholders.
- Curate Knowledge Base article content related to interface functionality.
- Act as a single point of contact and subject matter expert for NaphCare's Integrations Development Team.
- Conduct internal support "hand-off" sessions.
- Document in-process interface workflows and coordinate and participate in Unit Testing, Quality Assurance and User Acceptance Testing activities.
- Support role for TechCare EHR Sales and Marketing activities.
- Attend industry events.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in software project management and implementation activities with life cycles ranging from weeks to months.
- Proficiency using EHR software systems.
- Proficiency in general information technology, software and technical concepts strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated excellence in communication skills, with both internal and external clients and vendor partners.
- Experience working in a team-based, fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
- High level of comfort with learning, building, and applying skills in both public forums and technical areas.
- Adeptness at translating technical language and concepts to end users.
- Ability to manage individual tasks and move projects or features towards known goals with minimal supervision.
