Senior Cloud Engineer

What is this opportunity? 

As a Cloud Engineer in our Server Operations department, you will join a core team to build and implement improved SDLC patterns, enhance our server infrastructure platforms, as well as improve and automate business, operations, and infrastructure management processes. In other words, you’ll have many opportunities to add to our emerging DevOps culture! 

You’ll work closely with front- and back-end software engineers, as well as design, quality assurance, and product management professionals. We look forward to your contributions to improve and modernize our platforms with your skills in cloud technologies, configuration management, and system/network/infrastructure design. Your familiarity with agile software development processes will be a major plus. You will provide guidance on site reliability standards and processes as well as implementing security standards.

Our Server Operations team helps with these goals by being zealous about the reliability, availability, security, scalability, and performance of our software services, which must be available 24/7/365 for our clients around the world. This is a full-time position. 

Qualifications 

• 5+ years of experience in designing and managing cloud infrastructure 
• 5+ years of experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP 

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Cyber Security, Computer Science, or related field (preferred) 
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation 
• Proficient with SQL and/or NoSQL databases 
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Saltstack 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and pass a background check
