Summary/Objective:
As a Senior Software Engineer with iOS experience, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our mobile applications. You will be responsible for development, and maintenance of our iOS applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and mentoring junior engineers to ensure the highest standards of code quality and performance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance iOS applications.
- Collaborate with team on architectural decisions and technical strategy.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code that adheres to best practices and coding standards.
- Optimize mobile applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Provide guidance to junior engineers, fostering their growth and development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and solutions.
- Work closely with QA teams to ensure the quality and reliability of the mobile applications.
- Operates with high standards that are aligned to Certified B-Corp values.
- Consider the beneficiaries of Beta Bionics' Public Benefit Mission with all actions and decisions.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
- Proven experience as a iOS Developer with 5+ years' experience.
- Strong proficiency in iOS application development using Swift and SwiftUI.
- Experience with iOS architecture components.
- Experience developing iOS application that communicates to Bluetooth Low Energy device.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services integration.
- Experience with code analysis and unit testing.
- Solid understanding of software design principles, data structures, and algorithms.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience with agile development methodologies.
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
- Worked in regulated software development environment.
- Has worked on one or more commercial mobile application.
- Stay updated with the latest iOS development trends, tools, and technologies.
Work Environment and Personal Protective Equipment
- This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, and scanners.
Physical Demands
- While performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is regularly required to be independently mobile. The employee is also required to interact with a computer, and communicate with co-workers.
- This position is a hybrid position. In office work at some level is required.
Salary Range
$115,000 - $155,000
