Senior Software Engineer

Capgemini Government Solutions (CGS) LLC is seeking highly motivated and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team to support our government clients. The successful applicant will solve difficult problems and implement core features, playing a meaningful role in building and delivering high-quality projects. You're an experienced software developer that owns your work and

maintains a passion to learn and grow. Our cross-disciplinary teams consist of world class developers, technical artists, 3D artists, UX & UI designers, and staff dedicated to software quality.

Job Responsibilities

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will:

• Working with a software development team lead and a project team of designers, project managers and quality analysts to develop outstanding applications and games.
• Working with the creative team to realize a design concept into implementation.
• Helping drive technical direction of software features with your lead.
• Participating in code reviews to ensure only high quality software is committed.
• Following agile software development methodologies, and collaborating with clients on technical solutions.

Required Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain Government Security Clearance.
• Consistent track record of delivering products with Unity and C#.
• Strong technical competence and subject matter knowledge in Defense, Simulation, and Training.
• Strong understanding of all aspects of the software development lifecycle.
• Good communicator with the ability to work as part of a team of diverse skills and interact directly with clients.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with defense training solutions in the live, virtual, constructive and integrated domains.
• Experience with AR/VR, mobile apps, desktop applications or games
• Experience with iOS, Android, Linux, or Windows.
