JOB SUMMARY
THINK Surgical is looking for a Senior Software Developer in Test who specializes in Web application testing to participate in bringing their surgical planning system to the next level. This position will be based in the Montreal, CAN office, Fremont, CA office, or the Sacramento, CA office.
The Preoperative planning team is responsible of developing the applications that generate plans for robotically guided surgery. The system is principally used by the case planner and the surgeons. The system's main functionality is the creation of a 3D representation of the bone, helping the surgeons to plan the surgery and the connectivity between the different systems. We are a very flexible team that favors interaction and communication. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop, and maintain a robust and scalable test automation framework tailored for the web application and medical device domain
- Work cross-functionally to develop fully conceived features with good test coverage and improve the overall product.
- Improve efficiency and effectiveness by refining test code structure, process and tools.
- Implement automated tests by reviewing and identifying requirements.
- Collaborate closely with Software Developers to understand the application architecture, design, and contribute to the development of testable software components.
- Develop automatic test data generation.
- Write documentation in compliance with our processes as well as the FDA, including V&V plans and report.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- 5+ years' experience as a Software Developer in Test.
- Experience developing in scripting languages, like Python or Typescript.
- Extensive experience with test automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, or similar tools.
- Experience developing or maintaining CI/CD pipeline for running the automated test suite on testing platform, like BrowserStack.
- Experience in Testing with different Browsers and different platforms (Desktop, Mobile, ...).
- Experience building test automation frameworks from scratch.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Thoroughness and attention to detail to ensure the reliability and accuracy of test results.
- Experience in iterative development.
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and applicable Quality System
- Standards
Preferred:
- Experience writing and implementing BDD.
- Experience with API testing.
- Experience using Cloud provider, like AWS, Azure or GCP.
- 3 years of experience in the medical device industry or another regulated field.
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and applicable Quality System Standards.
- B.S. in Computer Science or related field.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position and operate office equipment for a prolonged period of time.
- Physical activities include, but not limited to constant manual dexterity, moving about the work site, and/or handling objects weighing up to 20 lbs.
- Other infrequent physical activities include, but not limited to, positioning self to complete assigned tasks, and ascending/descending floors and/or ladders.
- Occasionally work around moving mechanical parts.
