Position Profile
Primarily responsible for operation, maintenance, and support of M365 Office products. Supports daily operations including monitoring, alerting, troubleshooting, provisioning, configuration, and resolving incidents within Service Level Agreements. Serves as a backup to team members which includes operation, maintenance, and support of various on-prem Windows core services. Administers multiple systems including regular after-hour and weekend supports and ensures 24x7x365 availability in a 99.999% uptime environment.

Salary: Range 72: $88,416 - $116,016 per year (DOQ).

WASHINGTON STATE RESIDENCY AND TELEWORK INFORMATION

Position may be eligible for hybrid working; a combination of telework and working in-office.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Administer Microsoft M365, SharePoint Online and/or Teams platforms, including user access, permissions, and content management.
- Manage and maintain the organization's server infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security in a Microsoft Cloud environment.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in cloud-based Enterprise SharePoint and/or Teams administration, providing technical leadership and guidance.
- Perform lead duties in workgroups and projects as directed by ISD Manager.
Lead duties include providing expert knowledge of M365 architecture, workload planning, instructing, training, monitoring and documentation. - Maintain advanced knowledge of AOC Infrastructure to independently learn and implement software products that best meets AOC business needs.
- Perform expert level troubleshooting and problem resolution to ensure business continuity, reliability and performance.
- Consult and mentor AOC Staff and Court employees in order to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Independently identify and create processes for upgrades, maintenance, and disaster recovery.
- Ability to prioritize multiple assigned tasks and execute parallel tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Able to independently prioritize workload, clearly articulate technical concepts and work with various teams to provide timely, accurate, clear and concise service to all who need it.
- Regularly evaluate software products for accuracy, business impact, and potential problems to ensure the best product is used for AOC business needs.
- Learn and utilize support products to minimize business impact and provide the highest level of productivity.
- Performs other work as assigned.
- Team members occasionally serve as backup to each other, as needed.
Qualifications and Credentials
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or closely related field AND demonstration of the following:
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience working specifically in the area of Windows Active Directory Administration.
Relevant experience may substitute for education on a year for year basis.
THE IDEAL APPLICANT WILL ALSO HAVE SOME OR ALL OF THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Two (2) or more years of Microsoft Office 365 administration experience of SharePoint Online and Teams.
- Two (2) years of experience developing, recommending, and maintaining SharePoint standards, best practices for an organization, including facilitation with diverse stakeholder groups to reach consensus.
- Microsoft Certifications; especially for Windows Server OS or M365
- Possess expert knowledge of key system utilities and applications; such as the ones below. Responsibilities for these applications include learning, designing, documenting, implementing, troubleshooting, recovering as well as training peers and staff.
- Microsoft Server (All Versions)
- Microsoft 365
- Microsoft SharePoint Online
- Microsoft Teams
- Exchange - Enterprise Messaging
- Anti-virus and Malware Protection
- BizTalk
- Expert knowledge with Active Directory/Windows server administration

- Experience with developing, recommending, and maintaining SharePoint standards, best practices for an organization
- Strong knowledge of SAN architectures and FC/ iSCSI protocols
- Strong understanding of major enterprise Windows operating systems
- Skilled in independently learning new software and concepts without prior training.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and make timely, strategic decisions and recommendations consistent with organizational objectives.
- Experience with business continuity / disaster recovery failover/failback
- Ability to think critically in decision-making and problem solving situations.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Proven ability to independently create written materials and presentations; and to communicate both technical and non-technical information to a wide variety of audiences.
- Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with peers to enhance and encourage collaboration on work products.
- Participate in all phases of storage engineering, including design, analysis, and modeling at a highly technical level; analyze complex computer system requirements to provide integration and implementation support.

- The workweek may fluctuate depending on workload or agency needs.
- Overnight travel may be required based on business needs.
- This position is not overtime eligible.
