Form of workRFI Ingredients is seeking a full-time Senior Scientist for our Quality Control laboratory in Broomfield, CO. RFI Ingredients is an industry leading contract manufacturer of food and supplements. We are looking for a Senior Scientist who has daily exposure with laboratory testing and who is able to manage a high sample throughput while still producing highly accurate data.
Good candidates will be organized, efficient and will have strong analytical testing experience with strong written and verbal communication skills. The primary responsibilities of this position are, but not limited to the following: Perform testing as required to evaluate products Bench chemistry following cGMP regulations Analytical testing (HPLC, HPTLC, UV-Vis, FTIR) - Heavy HPLC Analysis Physical Testing (Particle Size, Moisture content, Density, etc.) Gluten Allergen Testing Wet Chemistry (Titration) Sensory Testing (organoleptic- color, odor, taste) SOP Updates as needed Review data generated by other QC analysts Assist with method development activities Prepare Certificate of Analysis Investigate Out-of-Specifications Troubleshoot HPLC and other analytical instruments Evaluate outside lab data Laboratory Cleaning Schedule: Monday-Friday / 8:00am-4:30pm
