  • Strong RNA biology knowledge including genetic element (UTRs, codon, structure, IRES) optimization for enhanced protein translation.

  • Deep understanding of applications and technical challenges beyond mRNA therapeutic modality (circular RNA, self-amplifying RNA etc.).

  • Thorough knowledge of working with high-throughput screening with enthusiasm in incorporation of automated liquid handlers in lab workflows.

  • Demonstrated hands-on experience in purification methodologies by chromatography, such as the AKTA FPLC system and HPLC systems.

  • Familiarity with RNA analytic methodologies, such as capillary electrophoresis and mass spectrometry.

  • Self-motivated, hard-working, detail-oriented, resourceful, and able to work in a fast-paced team environment with demonstrated problem-solving and perseverance skills.
