Overview
An exciting opportunity awaits you to join the pre-opening team as a Senior Sales Manager at stunning OKANA Resort and Waterpark. You'll have the opening to demonstrate your sales skills as the resort becomes a transformational addition to the Oklahoma City hospitality landscape. The OKANA Resort is part of Pyramid Global Hospitality, a leading hospitality company that offers career opportunities and has a steadfast commitment to putting people first.
The Senior Sales Manager is responsible for securing groups and conventions by establishing relationships with customers. This individual should be a dynamic, business-minded professional with a diverse selling background and must be able to excel in a fast-paced environment. This individual should be an aspiring sales professional who can provide leadership and mentoring to junior Sales Managers, managing the department in the absence of the senior leadership team.
PERFORMANCE STANDARDS

• • CUSTOMER SERVICE: Demonstrate an understanding of client needs; deliver the best service, quality and value to every customer; communicate client's needs to all operating departments to ensure a successful meeting; expedient follow-up to client requests during the group contracting process; conduct site inspections and tours through masterful story telling during pre-opening and after resort opens; be a professional representative of the resort during all customer interactions.
  • PEOPLE: Maintain a positive, cooperative work environment with direct report, co-workers, and resort team members; work closely with key individuals to deliver an excellent experience for the client's attendees.
  • QUALITY: Consistently exceed the department's operating standards; apply strong sales and relationship skills to create customer value and help differentiate the resort from the competition; keep clients information organized according to standards; meet deadlines and respond to corporate, CVB and system sales leads in a timely manner. Require little to no supervision; offer suggestions designed to improve the Sales Department's morale and operation.
  • MANAGING THE BUSINESS: Retain customers and secure new business by actively engage with Visit OKC and local partners to develop and execute a strategy for outside sales calls, industry tradeshows, and client events; maintain a pipeline of business opportunities; professionally represent the resort in all interactions with customers relative to sales, including creating business proposals and executing contracts; know the principle competition for each segment and leverage the resort's strengths against each; identify and effectively react to revenue opportunities; meet or exceed sales goals for group bookings/corporate accounts, new leads, contacts and number of weekly sales; coordinate group specifications using lead management system; enter and maintain pertinent account and booking information in system according to company standards and maintain effective involvement with key community organizations.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years Senior Sales experience, preferably in hotels, resorts, or waterparks.
• Negotiation & networking savvy.
• Strong communication & presentation skills.
• Read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Must be based in Oklahoma City
• Present a professional appearance and confidence.
• Ability to execute a Sales and Marketing Plan that aligns with resort's financial objectives.
• Excellent Time management skills.
• Willingness to travel to make resort presentations to clients and/or tradeshows.

Compensation Range
The compensation for this position is $80,000.00/Yr. - $90,000.00/Yr. based on qualifications and experience.
