Job description

About You:

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Revenue Operations Analyst to play a pivotal role in supporting our go-to-market team. Your expertise will drive insights, process improvements, and detailed analyses to enhance efficiency and fuel growth.

As a hands-on analyst, you will collaborate with a cross-functional team to analyze and report on forecast, pipeline, and deals, administer KPIs, develop and administer commission compensation, and contribute to strategic planning across and create and support a streamlined experience for the go-to-market team and leaders.

Location: This role will be required to come into the office a few days a month. Candidates must reside near Portland, Oregon or surrounding areas within the state. 

Responsibilities:

Strategic Collaboration and Partnership:

  • Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success leadership.
  • Support go-to-market teams in forecasts, pipeline analysis, and deal evaluation.
  • Collaborate on the design and oversight of sales compensation plans.

Operational Efficiency and Enablement:

  • Streamline processes for sales and marketing.
  • Improve pre and post-sales processes.
  • Troubleshoot and manage the go-to-market tech stack.

Data Management and Analysis:

  • Develop and maintain reports and KPIs for Marketing, Sales, SDRs, and Customer Success.
  • Surface insights through strategic analysis and partnership.
  • Manage end-to-end data management, ensuring integrity and accuracy.
  • Utilize advanced data analysis skills (SQL, Python).
  • Manage various dashboards showing performance, trends, opportunities, and risks.

Commission Analysis and Administration:

  • Analyze sales booking reports and perform account analysis for compensation-related accounts.
  • Manage monthly commissions for direct and indirect sales teams.
  • Maintain quotas, rates, and ensure compliance with commission plans.
  • Administer commissions in CaptivateIQ and resolve disputes.
  • Partner with stakeholders to guide sales commission plans.

Sales Commission Reporting and Collaboration:

  • Maintain processes for accurate and timely sales commission reporting.
  • Collaborate with sales, customer success, and HR teams on commission-related issues.
  • Assist in sales commission reporting summary to management and payroll.
  • Cross-train with team members and provide input for process improvements.

Financial Management and Special Projects:

  • Prepare compensation-related account reconciliations and journal entries.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and contribute to special projects.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Ops, or a similar role.
  • Experience in business analysis, reporting, strategy, analytics, and incentive commission plans.
  • Strong business acumen, project management skills, and organizational abilities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce, CaptivateIQ, and other relevant tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work with large datasets comfortably.
  • Advanced data analysis skills (SQL, Python).
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce, CPQ, and experience with the broader sales tools landscape.
  • Deep knowledge of managing tools such as Salesforce, Gainsight, and Calibermind.
  • Experience with Tableau, Data Studio, Looker, or a similar data visualization tool.

Compensation at Airship
Airship's compensation is determined by a variety of factors including market data, experience ladders, and geographical location. The starting salary range for this position is $116,000 to $131,000 per year. Some roles may also be eligible for commission, bonus, competitive equity packages, and other performance incentives. In addition, we also provide an extensive suite of benefits as part of our Total Rewards approach to compensation.
