The Senior Recruiter will work closely with the Director of Talent, Casting Department, and Hiring Managers to provide a pipeline of highly-qualified and available talent for our various job openings. What it takes to succeed: a creative eye, keen mind for problem solving, and sound understanding of recruiting/hiring best practices. Full Time. Remote Position. Must be in the state of California, Georgia, Texas, Oregon, Connecticut, Florida, New Jersey, New York (Outside NYC), Colorado, Washington, or Canada for remote positions.
Responsibilities:
Source, recruit, and evaluate qualified candidates through The Third Floor's applicant tracking system (Clear Company), social networking, job boards, referrals, and TTF's internal network to find the best talent in the industry
Strategically manage our full-cycle recruitment process which consists primarily of creative talent such as previs, postvis and asset artists, game engine artists, technical roles, and finals animators
Identify and present qualified candidates to hiring managers
Handle multiple searches in a timely manner with professionalism and proactive communication
Conduct pre-screen phone calls, interviews, rate negotiations, and reference checks
Handle all new hire paperwork and coordinate on-boarding with the Talent, Learning & Development, and HR Teams
Prep our regular Reel Review session with Heads of Creative to review resumes and reels for assessment of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements
Recruit for employees in all areas: artists, tech roles, admin and support departments
Plan and attend industry recruiting, networking, and college campus events
Adapt quickly to constant change in hiring priorities (our company moves quickly!)
Perform general administrative functions including employee file maintenance
Keep recruiting database and Clear Company up to date
Plan and host internal events; e.g. student tours
Lead and mentor other recruitment team members
Essential Skills:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, FileMaker Pro, Google Calendar and Docs
Prior experience utilizing an ATS system (Clear Company preferred)
Prior experience recruiting for an entertainment company and recruiting for artistic talent is a must!
Experience in full-cycle recruitment, university relations, and employment branding
Demonstrated history of creating/improving/leading recruitment processes that improve department efficiency and the candidate experience

Effective problem solver with ability to self-manage
A true passion for the filmmaking, animation and vfx spaces. The Recruiter needs to have a strong eye for evaluating resumes, portfolios, reels, breakdowns, and other materials presented for artistic roles
The pay scale is between $90,000 - $130,000 salary based on experience, skillset and other factors. Additional TTF benefits: Health Insurance (Medical, Dental, Vision), Sick Time, 401k (staff only), PTO (staff only), and additional Perks & Benefits.
