As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Real Estate Accountant to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview: We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Real Estate Accountant with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the Real Estate industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Real Estate accounting, financial analysis, and a deep understanding of industry regulations and best practices. As a Real Estate Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing financial data, optimizing financial processes, and ensuring the accuracy of our accounting records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements for multiple Real Estate properties.
• Perform reconciliations of property-level accounts, bank accounts, and general ledger accounts.
• Monitor and analyze property-level budgets and variances, providing insights to management.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, including processing invoices, tracking payments, and collections.
• Conduct monthly and year-end close processes, ensuring compliance with GAAP and industry standards.
• Assist in the preparation of annual property budgets and forecasts.
• Collaborate with property managers, asset managers, and external auditors.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in the preparation of tax returns.
• Participate in financial analysis and reporting for potential Real Estate acquisitions or dispositions.
• Provide support for ad-hoc financial projects as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Real Estate accounting.
• Proficiency in Real Estate accounting software (e.g., Yardi, MRI, or similar).
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Knowledge and understanding of CAM Charges

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
