Job Summary:
The Senior Quality Engineer is responsible for the design, development, implementation and analysis of Quality systems, tools and procedures. Will provide Quality assurance support for processes within operations.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for daily and monthly Quality reports, reporting out to leadership
Preparation and response to customer audits, providing customer support
Update and management quality documentation
Support equipment operation, ensuring Quality specifications
Manage product specifications
Manage company equipment manuals and documentation
Develop and implement Quality control procedures and processes to ensure product Quality and compliance with industry standards and regulations
Conduct Quality inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to Quality standards
Identify root cause analysis of problems in production process, recommend and implements corrective measures
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement corrective actions for Quality issues
Manage and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with regulations and industry best practices
Lead and participate in quality improvement projects, including process optimization and product enhancements
Provide guidance and support to Quality team, organize the Quality trainings necessary for the teammates
Monitor and analyze quality data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement
Collaborate with suppliers to establish quality requirements and resolve any quality-related issues
Other tasks as assigned
Required Skills and Abilities:
Self-sufficient, must be able to make decisions independently
Excellent communication, team orientation and presentation skills
Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point, etc.)
Safety and Quality oriented with a solution-oriented mindset
Ability to problem solve with planning skills
Demonstrate prompt and regular attendance
Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive attitude
Korean language skill is a plus
Education and Experience:
5 years of experience in Quality-related work in automotive parts manufacturing, or equivalent
Proven experience as a Quality Engineer or in a similar role is required
Strong knowledge of quality assurance principles, practices, and methodologies is required
Knowledge and Experience in ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 is required
Experience developing, managing and supporting Quality systems and implementations is required
Proficient in Quality control techniques, including statistical analysis tools is required
Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field is preferred
Physical Requirements:
While performing the essential duties of this job, the employee will be required to: sit at a desk for prolonged periods of time and work on a computer; regularly walk, stand, sit and communicate.
