Responsibilities:
- Participates in and identifies specific tests while executing test scenarios for unit, process, function, system integration, regression and acceptance testing.
- Defines criteria for testing, analyzes results of testing sessions and presents testing results to project stakeholders.
- Reviews applicable requirements in order to develop complex test cases, scenarios and scripts to ensure application quality.
- Designs and develops usability testing scenarios, and administers portions of the testing process. Writes test plans, collaborating with other QA and business teams.
- Uses testing tools to plan, execute and track quality assurance artifacts.
- Escalates defects and issues that need remediation. Performs testing activities based upon test plans and scripts.
- Executes testing independently.
- Identifies and documents software and systems defects across products, platforms, and releases. Analyzes detailed systems requirements, in order to verify that programs function according to actual requirements and established guidelines.
- Helps resolve problems detected in testing.
- Provides triage support to Development, Business and Test teams on internal and external issues. Attends product definition and design meetings, functional and technical walkthroughs in order to participate in the selection of testing tools and approaches. Identifies test data, test environment setup and test environment configurations needed to prepare for testing.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of automation testing experience using Java w/ Selenium and TestNG
- Previous project experience automating tests for SWIFT MX
- Previous experience automating tests in agile environment
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelors degree in computer science or related field of study (preferred)
