Job Description
Under the supervision of the QC Supervisor, this position will be responsible for scheduling Raw Materials, In-process and Finished Product samples for the testing according to the established QC guidelines and protocols. Candidate should be able to work in accordance with cGMP procedures and demonstrate a strong understanding of laboratory procedures and record keeping.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Responsible for submission & tracking of incoming samples for the testing in a timely manner for both in-house and contract labs, ensuring the accuracy of the testing requirements.
- Maintain or check proper logbook records to ensure all samples are received, logged, stored, scheduled and tracked per QC practices.
- Maintaining and storing electronic records of all sample submissions per the QC guidelines.
- Follow up for the testing status and setup a clear communication with QC manager about any possible delays.
- Coordinate sample shipment to contract labs to ensure samples are received and under testing in a timely manner.
- Responsible for the organizing released COAs, Test results, QC documents and QC retain samples.
- Should be able to learn or perform testing on High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Stomacher (TVCC test), Titration and more.
- Should be able to perform in house Micro and swab test.
- Should be able to develop new HPLC method
- Should be able to learn and perform physical testing on the incoming samples such as ID, Organoleptic, LOD, Average Weight, LOD, Water Activity etc.
- Establish a proactive communication with QC Supervisor for any out of trend results or failing testing status or contract lab notifications.
OTHER FUNCTIONS:
Other duties including but not limited to:
- Provide samples, documents or COAs upon request.
- Establish a clear and effective communication internally and with outside Labs.
- Perform and maintain QC daily check records such as weight and temperature monitoring logs.
- Maintain and update QC database and records regularly.
- Should perform additional testing to support product release.
- Keep lab organized and support in the Daily Lab Cleaning up procedures including work area, equipment and glassware.
BASIC SKILLS AND WORK REQUIREMENTS:
- Good computer skills especially in the use of MS Word, Excel etc.
- Able to learn different eResource’s or computer skills for the QC record keeping.
- Must be able to read, understand, implement and interpret written or verbal instructions and QC Standard Operating Procedures.
- Must have good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Possess basic mathematical and problem-solving skills.
- Must follow Work hour/shift policies.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Worked in similar industry.
- Have working experience of using Smartsheet trackers and ERP systems.

· Private Labeling of premium branded and private label products for various companies/retailers using 450 stock products and differentiating with over 50
Patented and Trademarked raw materials.
· Contract Manufacturing of premium powders, tablets and capsules differentiating with over 50 patented and trademarked raw materials, specializing in probiotics
and plant proteins. Customer base is branded, domestic and international companies.
