Position Description: Position Description: Candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. And be able to test a variety of projects that may include but are not limited to PeopleSoft HRMS, web, e-commerce, and intranet both custom and third-party, Windows-based applications in Microsoft.Net and Java technologies. Must have 5-10 years software testing experience. Candidate must be well versed in functional aspects of PeopleSoft HRMS HR, Benefits Administration, Payroll, Time & Labor, and GL Interface with insight into technical aspects.
Qualifications: ¿ 5 -10 years Software Testing Experience ¿ 4 + years proven ERP system testing experience ¿ Experience with PeopleSoft HRMS version 8.9 or higher ¿ Candidate must be able to map requirements to test scripts and validate not only documented requirements but validate current functionality against identified business processes and test scenarios. ¿ Candidate must have exemplified superior knowledge in understanding of business requirements, processes and implementation approaches for three or more of the following PeopleSoft HRMS modules: PeopleSoft HR, PeopleSoft Benefits Administration, PeopleSoft Payroll, PeopleSoft Time & Labor or General Ledger Interface ¿ Technical proficiency with SQL and PS/Query for reviewing data, troubleshooting and testing/validating source system data ¿ Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities effectively and efficiently ¿ Senior level knowledge of testing processes, methodologies, and best practices ¿ Understanding of all phases of the software development life cycle ¿ Ability to execute functional, system, integration, regression, and various other types of testing as appropriate ¿ Experience with Test Cast Management tools, Quality Center and TFS a plus ¿ Experience with Defect Tracking tools (i.e. Quality Center, Jira) ¿ Experience testing Client/Server and Web/Internet Applications ¿ Ability to executing functional, system, integration, regression, and various other types of testing as appropriate ¿ Ability to create and execute test plans and test cases ¿ Experience with data validation ¿ Technical background preferred; hands-on experience with programming languages such as Java, C#, Microsoft .Net a huge plus
