Position Description:
: Candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. And able to test a variety of projects that may include but are not limited to web, e-commerce, intranet, Financials Reporting, ERP Systems both custom and third-party, Portfolio Management, and Windows-based applications in Microsoft.Net and Java technologies.
Qualifications:
5-10 years Software Testing Experience Experience with one or more PeopleSoft modules (AP, AR, GL, PO, AM, PC, HR, Benefits, & Payroll) is a plus. Technical background preferred; hands-on experience with programming languages such as Java, C#, Microsoft .Net a huge plus Senior level knowledge of testing processes, methodologies, and best practices. Solid understanding of all phases of the software development life cycle Ability to execute functional, system, integration, regression, and various other types of testing as appropriate Ability to create and execute test plans and test cases Experience with data validation Experience in writing test scripts/unit tests Experience testing web-services Experience in creating and executing SQL Scripts Knowledge and/or experience with SQL Server Experience with Test Cast Management tools, Quality Center and TFS Experience with Defect Tracking tools (i.e. Quality Center, Jira) Experience testing Client/Server and Web/Internet Applications Strong attention to details and ability to do multi-tasking Self-Starter, customer service oriented and ability to communicate effectively Excellent oral and written communication skills
