JOB SUMMARYMaintains, diagnoses, and repairs a variety of equipment including a fleet of diesel powered 4”, 6”, & 8” pumps, hydraulic systems and other various types of oilfield related equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute required procedures for preventative maintenance.
- Oversees varied mechanical duties such as dismantling, rigging, repairing, and installing pulleys, power shafts, hoists, conveyers and other facility equipment.
- Follows company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
- Perform inspections required by company & enforce the maintenance program.
- Perform basic troubleshooting with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to ensure our equipment is Ready to Rent.
- Analyzes mechanical engine codes from John Deer and Deutz computer scanner software.
- Install and/or replace new or reconditioned repair parts.
- Inspects all equipment in the yard or shop and address any deficiencies.
- Basic testing of equipment for proper operation.
- Assists with equipment maintenance inspections & service per the schedule.
- Performs engine work.
- Operation of lifting devices.
- Must complete proper paperwork as assigned.
- Performs work on 4x4 and 6x6 sized pump ends, wet ends, vac assist Pioneer wet ends and Cornell wet ends.
- Assists with testing of solid-state circuitry to find defective parts in digital equipment and replace, rebuilding and wire instrumentation as required.
- May be required to assist other Maintenance employees.
- Performs various other duties assigned by supervisor/manager within the physical constraints of the job.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of four years similar experience in service company or oilfield operating company.
- Strong working knowledge of Deutz & John Deere engines required.
- Cornell & Pioneer pump experience required.
- Must have engine reading diagnostics software experience.
- Knowledge of maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration & repair of all electronics, electrical, controls, instrumentation, and computer-based equipment.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.
- Experience operating a forklift.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Multi-tasking ability.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to read and correctly interpret information contained in equipment and vendor manuals.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
