Job Description

Vego Garden is actively searching for a seasoned Senior Public Relations Marketing Specialist to amplify our brand’s presence through strategic influencer partnerships and Public Relations initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the social media landscape and influencer marketing dynamics, as well as the ability to forge meaningful relationships with influencers and media outlets in the gardening and lifestyle sectors.

This role plays a critical part in our brand's ongoing success and will be instrumental in taking our digital marketing efforts to the next level. Can you see yourself doing this? If you answered yes, then this may be the job for you! This is a full-time position based out of Tomball, TX, and the duties for this role include but are not limited to:

• Develop and execute influencer marketing strategies and creative campaigns to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
• Identify, vet, and build relationships with influencers and key opinion leaders in the gardening and lifestyle community.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key journalists, editors, and major media contacts.
• Manage and execute Public Relation outreach strategies to promote Vego Garden’s products and initiatives to relevant media outlets.
• Collaborate with the content marketing team to create engaging content that can be utilized by influencers and media partners.
• Track, measure, and report on the performance of influencer campaigns and Public Relations initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging influencers and media outlets, leveraging this knowledge to keep Vego Garden at the forefront of the market.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in influencer marketing, Public Relations outreach, and media relations, preferably with a track record of securing coverage in major publications, preferably within the gardening, lifestyle, or DTC brand spaces.
• Experience with Direct-To-Consumer (DTC) marketing strategies and a network of media contacts and influencer relationships is a strong plus.
• A strong network of influencers, journalists, and media contacts in the gardening and lifestyle community.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to forge strong relationships with influencers and media partners.
• Proficient in using social media platforms and influencer marketing tools.
• Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative influencer campaigns and Public Relations strategies that resonate with our target audience.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
