Senior Public Affairs Content Writer (Secret Clearance)

What level Clearance do I need? You must possess an active Secret clearance.

Who will I be working with? In support of Inflow's contract with the Government, you will be working alongside Government civilians and other Government contractors. You will be supporting the Office of the Inspector General (OIG) for the Department of Defense (DOD).

What will I be doing? In this position you will be part of a team of professional video, web content, graphic design, and social media/marketing specialists. You will perform moderately complex writing assignments in coordination with the Government customer and graphics designer to create news releases, video scripts, photo captions, fact sheets and other promotional material. In addition, you will:

• Research content, write and edit text
• Write summaries of audits and evaluations for public consumption
• Work with Marketing Specialist and Graphic designer to produce plain language text and graphics to showcase impactful oversight products
• Ensure quality products each time
• Provide status on deliverables and timelines
• Handle confidential and classified information ensuring information is not distributed or communicated outside of approved individuals/system
• Conduct work in the Government provided tools
• Other duties as assigned

What experience, training, and education do I need?

You must meet the minimum requirements:

• 10+ years of related experience in technical writing, public relations, or related field
• Master's degree or equivalent experience
• Proficient in creating clear and concise content for websites
• Experienced in conducting research to gather information and validate content accuracy
• Capable of adhering to guidelines and style standards to maintain consistency across the website
• Proficient in proofreading and editing content for grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Active Secret clearance

Where is the client site that I would be working for? This position is remote; however, you must reside within an hour of Alexandria, VA, and be able to come onsite if needed. Address disclosed after your clearance is verified.
