As an important component of improving renters’ journey, Tripalink launched an App that allows renters to search for apartments, e-sign the lease agreement, manage their home including paying rent, requesting maintenance and cleaning, call community shuttles, use community perks, and sign up for various events etc. With ever-evolving physical living products and technology-empowered operations, Tripalink can provide the best living experience for its target renters. The company currently manages about 10,000 units in Los Angeles, Irvine, Seattle, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Tucson, Austin, Chicago, San Francisco, and Berkeley.

Description :
1. Customer Service:
Demonstrate outstanding phone and email etiquette.
Take initiative to coach and train the team on accounting procedures.
Provide guidance and support to the internal and external parties.
Embrace teamwork and collaboration on all levels.
2. Property Accounting Operations:
Prepare and analyze the financial statements, general ledger, subsidiary ledgers, and budgets (monthly and yearly).
Assist in managing the timeliness of Financial Statements, Bank Reconciliations, and all other monthly reporting/closing procedures.
Reconcile, verify and validate all entries and postings to balance sheet and income statement accounts.
Prepare monthly bank account reconciliations for assigned portfolio.
Review and reconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable, and maintain a schedule of all balance sheet accounts.
Reconcile vendor accounts and ensure payments are up to date.
Prepare analysis of accounts, such as expense distribution, AP aging, check register, and other required reports during month-end.
Support Job Cost module and prepare loan draws (CapEx Reserves, Required Repairs, etc).
Review delinquency per assigned property and makes sure monthly write-offs are completed.
Contribute to the development of accounting procedures and strategies to improve efforts, record keeping, and account management including exploring new tools and software.
Review budget comparison for accuracy and performs re‐class and accruals as needed.
Assist with monthly budget variance analysis.
Adhere to daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly deadline requirements.
Assist with internal and external audits.
Assist with annual budget preparations.
Assist with accounting items related to buying and selling properties, as needed.
Perform other duties as needed by the CFO and Accounting Supervisor.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance a plus.
3‐7 years experience working in an accounting department preparing financials.
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word.
Experience in AppFolio and/or other Major ERP preferred.
Ability to process complex tasks with minimal instructions.
Ability to multi‐task and have good organizational skills.
Must possess outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be able to communicate professionally and effectively with other staff members, property employees, and the Executive team.
Strong analytical, problem‐solving, and organizational skills.
Able to adapt to changing priorities.
Able to work independently and assist in leading the team.
Strong work ethic and the ability to take the initiative.
