Kimley-Horn has a rewarding opportunity for a motivated Senior Project Manager/Practice Builder to lead our Land Development team in San Diego, CA.
Responsibilities
This position will contribute to the growth of Land Development in Southern California leading business development efforts with local architects and developers while building, mentoring and managing the local Land Development team. The successful candidate will be given a great deal of autonomy to lead, direct, and grow their practice.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- P.E. License in the State of CA
- 15+ years of experience in Land Development within Southern California (residential, commercial, industrial and/or institutional)
- Extensive client contacts and relationships with local architects, developers, land use attorneys, planners and/or land owners
- Business development and marketing experience including writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgets for projected work
- Strong technical skills in Civil 3D Ability to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organization
- Ability to manage & mentor staff, and direct resources effectively in a positive manner
- Demonstrated ability to manage Land Development projects profitably

Base Salary Range:
- $170,000 to $190,000
- Eligible for performance-based bonus compensation
