Job Description:
Stryker is seeking to hire a Senior Project Manager, R&D to support Stryker's Neurovascular Division Program Management Office (PMO) in delivering innovative medical devices to market. This role will focus on New Product Development projects for the Stryker Neurovascular Access/AIS Portfolio. This role is onsite or hybrid (spending 3 days per week in the office), at our Fremont, CA, or Salt Lake City, UT location.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
As a Senior Project Manager, you will have accountability and authority for achieving projects' objectives while directing a multi-disciplinary team aiming to complete projects. This position is in New Product Development and will be responsible for planning, executing, and launching projects. You will serve as a key project leader, motivated problem solver, and relationship builder with key stakeholders and cross-functional team members.
Technical Responsibilities:
- Lead the team in the development of the project charter and management plan. Direct, manage, monitor, and control project. Evaluate tradeoffs within project.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to develop, manage and own project scope. Create detailed Work Breakdown Structure.
- Develop and manage the detailed project Gantt chart. Analyze critical path, major workstreams, and intersecting milestones. Own the project schedule
- Collaborate with cross-functional managers to define project budget. Monitor and maintain costs within budget.
- Partner with project team to create project Quality Plans using 2-3 quality planning tools and techniques. Monitor and maintain plans.
- Develop a risk management plan for the project. Identify, analyze, and understand project risks; develop and monitor a risk response plan.
- Develop a Procurement Management Plan and collaborate on the selection of procurement partners.
- Estimate, acquire and assign cross functional project resources. Define the role, responsibility, and deliverables for each team member. Provide direct feedback to functional manager on performance reviews.
- Develop a Stakeholder management plan for the project, based on the identification, analysis and understanding of Stakeholder expectations.
- Develop and Execute the communications management plan for project team and the needs of key stakeholders.
- Builds successful working relationships with internal and external personnel in various departments. Understands quality system(s). Can influence without direct authority in a way that makes others want to be on their team.
WHAT YOU NEED:
Required:
- Bachelor of Science Degree; in engineering or technical discipline preferred
- 6+ years of work experience
Preferred:
- PMP or equivalent preferred
- Experience in medical device or regulated industry strongly preferred.
$99,900.00 - $204,000.00 salary plus bonus eligible + Benefits (Health, Vision, Dental, 401K, Tuition Reimbursement, Employee Assistance Program, Wellbeing Program, Employee Stock Purchase Program). This information reflects the anticipated salary range for this position based on current national data. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
Travel Percentage: 20%
