Job description

Overview:The Office of the Dean is responsible for the academic and administrative functions of Tufts University School of Medicine, including overseeing the School’s academic departments, the teaching and research enterprises, student services, and campus buildings and facilities. The primary responsibilities of the Office of the Dean include financial and strategic planning, resource allocation, faculty recruitment, interface with clinical affiliates, and other management responsibilities related to the function of a large and diverse medical school.
What You'll Do:The Project Coordinator is responsible for:

  • Planning, management, and execution of projects and initiatives within the dean’s office and the advancement of the strategic plan.
  • These include special projects related to strategic initiatives, space utilization, routine facilities and IT issues, and events.
  • Under limited supervision, provides advanced administrative support and coordination for university projects.
  • Utilizing advanced knowledge and skills with varied office system applications, drafts reports, proposals, and communications materials for projects.
  • Responds to more complex inquiries and provides problem resolution for constituents.

What We're Looking For:Basic Requirements:

  • Knowledge & Skills as Typically Acquired Through Associate Degree and 5-7 years of Related Experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft office suite and database applications.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

Pay: $29.10 - $40.20 per hour
