Department: Educ Digital Youth Network Salary/Grade: EXS/6 Job Summary: The Senior Program Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring seamless program operations, delivery, quality control, and evaluation; building and maintaining relationships with community and school partners; and supporting the implementation of a Pinkard Equity in Opportunity Research Lab (EOL) program at various sites. During the summer, the Program Coordinator will support more than 10 Field Supervisors who will in turn supervise more than 60 Field Coordinators as they deliver the lab's curriculum to and supervise community asset mapping for more than 200 high school students across the Chicagoland area. During the academic year, the Program Coordinator will train high school and college youth through an approved curriculum.
Areas of responsibility: Administration Budget & Financial Communications Evaluation Events Human Resources Program Development Recruitment Regulatory Compliance Strategic Planning Student Support Specific Responsibilities: Administration Oversees & ensures that day-to-day operations are appropriately managed, efficient and effective. Work collaboratively with the Data Team to develop and communicate plans to coordinate field teams, including data collection assignments and strategic adjustments to optimize efficiency, productivity, and safety, while creating a positive environment for all participants Conduct remote and in-person training for replication sites. Occasional out-of-state, overnight travel may be required Develop, document, implement, audit and continuously improve processes and procedures Communication, Outreach & Recruitment Ensures program/project success in regard to revenue & expense goals including recruitment, participation, etc.
Identifies opportunities and strategies for short- and long-term growth & expansion. Pursues opportunities for alumni contact & solicitation. Build, maintain, and support strong relationships between community partners, staff, alumni, funders, volunteers, and other stakeholders Develop interactive workshops and present EOL program data and information to community members across Chicago Cultivate the the EOL alumni network; organize and facilitate Alumni Council meetings and other school-year programming Evaluation Manages development and maintenance of evaluation processes including associated metrics and key performance indicators.
Reviews & analyzes outcome measurements and recommends changes & enhancements to improve program/project. Collaborates with internal/external partners to implement changes designed to improve/increase program/project goals/objectives. Ensure timely distribution and collection of evaluation tools (e.g., youth surveys) and provide strategic recommendations to improve evaluation processes Maintain a data dashboard with current student and alumni information Analyze program data to inform future strategy and planning Report to funders and other stakeholders on program successes and challenges Collaborate with Positive Youth Development (PYD), argumentative literacy, Math, and data visualization literacy consultant(s) to improve program training and curriculum Human Resources Supervises implementation of human resource programs, policies, procedures & talent management lifecycle & related mentoring & training.

Recruits, trains and assigns faculty/instructors to teach programs.
Miscellaneous Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Competencies: (Skills, knowledge, and abilities.) Experience successfully developing data science activities and curricula for high school and college-aged youth Strong analytical and data visualization skills Daily access to a reliable vehicle Strong project management skills resulting in measurable success and growth Successful track record of working with youth in underserved communities Demonstrated leadership and skills in recruiting, hiring, and supervising staff Passion for building programs that engage local communities Excellent verbal and written communication skills with superb attention to detail Preferred Qualifications: 3+ years of experience managing a youth-serving, nonprofit program Target hiring range for this position will be between $56,000 - $76,000 per year. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
