The College of Professional and Continuing Studies is seeking a Senior Program Coordinator for Pre-Collegiate Programs and OLLI at OU. This position creates and administers K-12 academic programs on behalf of the College of Professional and Continuing Studies, in coordination with university faculty and outside agencies. This position will also work with the OLLI at OU program to coordinate courses.
Essential Duties:
- Planning and overseeing academic programs for K-12 youth
- Develop and administer budgets for programs and special projects, including grant programs.
- Effectively evaluate projects, programs and produce comprehensive reports.
- Financial/accounting to include analysis, auditing, and budgeting.
- Interact with university departments, funding agencies, outside organizations, and state/government agencies.
- Develop format, course design, program content, and instructional support materials to meet grade level objectives and targets.
- Seek out faculty and qualified instructors to deliver course objectives.
- Develop and create marketing strategies and promotional material while analyzing needs of target audience.
- Hire, train, and oversee program student staff.
- Develop proposals and administer grants and contracts.
- Responsible for daily program operations including staff supervision, program evaluations, and developing long-range plans.
- Collects and analyzes data and prepares reports.
- Ensures compliance with program regulations.
- Plans and coordinates program events.
- Develops policies and procedures.
- Performs related duties as assigned or as required to successfully fulfill functions of the position.
Job Location
Required Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree AND:
- 48 months of related experience.
Equivalent/Substitution: Will accept 48 months of experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree to equal 96 months of related experience.
