We are looking for a motivated, creative, and results-oriented self-starter to join our Product Marketing team. This is a strategic team within DigitalOcean that owns the messaging and positioning, drives the Go-To-Market strategy for all Paperspace products and also works on accelerating product usage and revenue.

As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will have the opportunity to define how we communicate the value of our product offering for our high-performance GPUs and AI/ML offerings to hundreds of thousands of customers worldwide. You will own the positioning and messaging, develop compelling content to help users understand the value, and drive marketing programs to spread the message globally. This role has a lot of visibility and requires close collaboration with numerous cross functional teams like product management, sales, revenue marketing, brand, developer relations, marketing programs.

What you'll be doing:

  • Messaging and Positioning:
    • Develop clear, differentiated messaging and positioning for our high-performance GPUs and AI/ML offerings that resonate with target audiences.
    • Understand customer needs, pain points, and market trends to tailor messaging accordingly.
    • Collaborate with product management and technical teams to distill complex technical concepts into simple, customer-centric messaging.
    • Create compelling content for various mediums like product pages, blogs, emails, social media, press releases.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy:
    • Lead the development and execution of go-to-market plans for AI-ML products, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
    • Utilize innovative tactics to increase the adoption of products in the user base post launch.
    • Define target market segments, buyer personas, and competitive positioning.
    • Partner with sales to develop tools, collateral, and training programs to support the sales team throughout the sales cycle.
    • Work closely with demand generation teams to develop integrated marketing campaigns to drive awareness and generate leads.
  • Product Launches:
    • Manage end-to-end product launches for AI-ML offerings, including planning, execution, and post-launch analysis.
    • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of launch activities.
    • Develop launch assets such as sales decks, product demos, website content, and press releases.
  • Market Intelligence:
    • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive threats.
    • Stay abreast of industry developments, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings to inform product and marketing strategies.
  • Thought Leadership:
    • Establish yourself and the company as thought leaders in AI-ML by creating compelling content such as whitepapers, blog posts, and speaking engagements.
    • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and webinars to showcase our AI-ML expertise.

What We'll Expect from You

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, marketing, computer science, or related field; MBA required.
  • Minimum 5+ years of job related experience in Product Marketing, preferably in the technology industry with a focus on AI, machine learning, or related fields.
  • Understanding of AI-ML technologies, cloud computing, market dynamics, and customer use cases.
  • Experience marketing to developers.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful go-to-market strategies for complex technical products.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into compelling messaging.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with product management, sales, and marketing teams.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and market insights to drive decision-making.
  • Self-starter with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • We reward our employees. The base salary range for this position is between $175,000-$180,000 based on relevant years of experience and skills. The salary range for this role is specific to candidates located within the U.S. and will vary for candidates outside the U.S.. Employees may qualify for a bonus in addition to base salary; bonus amounts are determined based on company and individual performance. We also provide equity compensation to eligible employees including grants of equity upon hire and the option to participate in our Employee Stock Purchase Program.
