Connected Banking Growth area product group (APG) is seeking a highly effective and innovative Product Manager (Sr. Product Associate) to lead the rapidly growing product development of end-to-end capabilities within the Digital organization for the Snapshot product and transform the way our customers do business. You will be responsible for the firm's capabilities including personalized tools and insights that empower and motivate customers to understand their money and manage their finances more effectively. The Product Manager for Snapshot will own a key product area for an initiative with high senior leadership support and visibility. Seeking a Product Manager with experience delivering personal financial management features and experiences for mobile and web - it will also be important for the candidate to be able to manage multiple deliveries at a time and communicate updates periodically to Quad and dependent teams.

Job Summary

As a Senior Product Associate in Connected Banking team, you contribute to the team by leveraging your expertise in product development and optimization to make a significant impact, supported by user research and customer feedback to fuel the creation of innovative products and continuously improve existing offerings. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and play a crucial role in shaping the future of our products and ongoing success. You will partner across the lines of businesses to execute on an ever-evolving roadmap to establish business plans for the future as well as keep JP Morgan on the leading edge of the rapidly changing technology landscape. You will partner with cross functional teams of core engineering, design and business partners from across the firm to deliver robust feature sets to market. The desired candidate will have excellent written and oral communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and excellent analytical and research skills, as well as a passion for digital channels - in addition to being a seasoned, well-trained professional, a strategic thinker with the ability to inspire confidence from, and to collaborate closely with technology and internal stakeholders.

Digital leads the delivery for our mobile and online customer experience and is the "front door" to many of the firm's offerings through Chase.com and the Chase mobile app, Digital is focused on building products, features and services quickly, predictably and with quality. Connected Banking focus is to grow, engage and explain and deepen our customers experience on their financial health journey - the org is made up into 6 area product groups (1) Personal Financial Management and Insights, (2) Credit and Identify (3) Export Aggregation (4) Growth (5) Partnerships and Strategy and (6) Digital Accessibility. Growth Area Product Group focus is to bring in new and disengaged users into our Connected Banking products that will drive the most growth, in line with unified strategy. S napshot is a 30-second, daily, personalized and curated feed of insights within the Chase mobile app that is designed to help customers make the most of their money by easily accessing CCB customer journeys from a single-scroll experience.

Job responsibilities

  • Partners with the Product Manager to identify new product opportunities that reflect the needs of our customers and the market through user research and discovery.

  • Considers and plans for upstream and downstream implications of new product features on the overall product experience.

  • Supports the collection of user research, journey mapping, and market analysis to inform the strategic product roadmap and provide insight on potential product features that provide value to customers.

  • Analyzes, tracks, and evaluates product metrics including work to time, cost, and quality campaigns across the product development life cycle.

  • Writes the requirements, epics, and user stories to support product development.

  • Collaborate with design, engineering, research and marketing teams to develop new product initiatives, Ability to lead the discovery work to be able to identify customer problems, customer segment and identifying the new ideas to solve those problems.

  • Help define product initiatives for new features and optimizations of existing ones, incorporate them into product roadmaps.

  • Define new product and feature business cases working collaboratively with business, engineering and design teams to recommend a unified product landscape.

  • Integrate data analytics, product metrics, user experience research, innovative market analysis, and company plans for the future to develop prioritization of product initiatives.

  • Understand, manage, and communicate prioritization of features, with a mind toward user and business benefits and tradeoffs, identify market opportunities and define product strategy.

  • Manage stakeholder communications business needs are met, set and manage expectations through effective written and oral communication.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area

  • Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle

  • Experience in product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition.

  • Developing knowledge of data analytics and data literacy

  • Demonstrable experience authoring business requirements, defining user stories and execution including bringing together cross functional teams within an Agile development framework

  • Experience in defining and building out product roadmap, prioritizing the backlog

  • Ability to influence people at all levels across a broad variety of job functions

  • Structured thinker, effective communicator with excellent written communication skills and willingness to ask awkward questions

  • Demonstrated ability to manage calmness with excellent time management skills. Levelheaded, thinks clearly.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Subject matter knowledge around financial management or personal financial management a plus

  • Commitment and self-motivation suitable to a start-up team in a large organization

  • Ability to juggle multiple requirements and deliveries at the same time while staying organized and communicative to dependent partners and senior leadership.

  • Experience working within an Agile development framework; Understanding of Product Owner roles and responsibilities a plus
