We're seeking an Analytics Solution professional who can architect and design transformational reporting solutions to empower our organization with faster, more informed decision-making and insights. In this role, you'll use technologies like Databricks and ThoughtSpot to design a new reporting product which will support multiple stakeholders seeking answers to complex financial and business questions for over 100 products across our Consumer and Community Banking (CCB) organization.
As an Analytics Solutions Associate for the CCB Finance Team, you will play a key role in the transformation and modernization of our data environment to serve the analytical and reporting needs of the CCB Product, Experience, Technology (PXT) Finance Organization. You will be part of the PXT Reporting and Insights Product team and will be primarily responsible for planning, directing, managing, and implementing end-to-end solutions of data reporting products. You will interact with key PXT Finance stakeholders to understand their business reporting needs, and closely collaborate with Technology, Design, and Finance Data Mart partners to create new reporting. You will design the best reporting solutions and visualizations using Databricks and ThoughtSpot, meeting the analytical and reporting needs of your domain stakeholders as well as stakeholders across the CCB Finance organization.
Job Responsibilities
- Seek to understand stakeholder use cases empowering you to anticipate stakeholders' requirements, questions, and objectives.
- Lead intelligence solution requirements gathering sessions with varying levels of leadership, complete detailed project planning utilizing JIRA to record planned project execution steps.
- Understand and be able to interpret data sources required to transform and maintain PXT Reporting and Insights reporting product on a recurring basis as well as anticipate future data enhancements needed.
- Partner with business users, design, and Technology teams in the development of data wrangling workflows, data visualization solutions utilizing ThoughtSpot and Tableau and other end-user reporting interfaces and that provides intuitive insights to our key stakeholders.
- Conduct thorough control testing of each component of the intelligence solution providing evidence that all data and visualization are providing accurate insights and evidence in the control process.
- Generate detailed metadata on existing and new data models.
- Become a subject matter expert in these responsibilities and support team members in becoming more proficient themselves.
- Coach and evolve the team's skill across the technologies used (Tableau, ThoughtSpot, Databricks, Snowflake, Curator etc.).
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in MIS or Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics or other quantitative subject
- 3+ years of financial solutions architecture, software development, data engineering, data science or business intelligence engineering experience, preferably related to financial services domain
- Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, or other Cloud Data Warehouse
- Experience with leading Business Intelligent solutions such as Tableau, Alteryx, ThoughtSpot
- Minimum 4 years' experience developing advanced data visualization and presentations
- Experience with relational databases optimizing SQL to pull and summarize large datasets, report creation and ad-hoc analyses
- Experience in data management, data mart architectures, data modeling techniques.
- Experience in reporting development and testing, and ability to interpret unstructured data and draw objective inferences given known limitations of the data
- Proficiency in Python and SQL
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience with Tableau or ThoughtSpot for advanced data visualizations and presentations
- Strong knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- AWS Certifications
- Experience on market leading data catalog systems
- Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and partners from a variety of business functions
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with track record of driving results through cross-functional organization

Candidates must be able to physically work in our Columbus, OH, or New York, NY offices 3 days a week and remotely from home 2 days per week. The specific schedule will be determined by direct management.
