What you’ll do as aSenior Group Procurement Manager
- Gain Category Expertise – understand the commodity, spend and the market trends.
- Lead the procurement process from identifying suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of materials.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure long-term partnerships and favorable terms.
- Continuously evaluate and monitor supplier performance to identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
- Create and/or apply tools and processes to record and maintain master data.
- Develop and maintain performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of procurement processes.
- Transform spend data or large databases into key insights and opportunities to decrease expenditure.
- Monitor market trends and stay up to date on new developments and innovations in procurement processes and technology.
- Coordinate for best practices in strategic sourcing and procurement that align with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and performance with commercial suppliers.
- Guarantee appropriate communication, reporting and cooperation with all stakeholders.
We’re looking for aSenior Group Procurement Manager with:
- Master’s degree in finance, Economics, Supply Chain/Procurement or Business, preferred.
- 5-7 years’ experience working as a as a Procurement Manager, Procurement Officer or Head of Procurement; in a multi division environment.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Excellent negotiations and networking skills.
- Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in “reading” the market.
- Experience in collecting and analyzing data.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Detailed experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
- Expertise in MS Office (Excel, Word, PPT and Outlook)
- Experience working independently and, in a team, setting.
