Senior Process Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Process Engineer to join our dynamic team in Albany, NY. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the successful execution of complex projects, bringing a wealth of knowledge in basebuild and/or tool install processes within advanced technology facilities. The Senior Process Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams, providing expertise to ensure the efficient and effective implementation of engineering solutions. This position is based in Albany, NY, and relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.

• Lead and contribute to the design, optimization, and execution of advanced technology facility projects, with a focus on basebuild and/or tool install processes.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop Process Engineering solutions that meet client requirements, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines.
• Conduct thorough process evaluations and risk assessments to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure project success.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Interface with clients to understand project goals, address concerns, and ensure alignment with expectations.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Participate in the preparation of proposals, feasibility studies, and project reports as needed.
• Special projects as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field with proven experience in Process Engineering and systems design for advanced technology industrial manufacturing and related facilities projects. Direct experience working for A/E or EPCM consultancy is strongly preferred.
• Ability to develop and create engineering calculations, data sheets, equipment sizing, PFDs and P&IDs required. Proficiency in using standard engineering, design and business software including but not limited to AutoCAD, Revit, BIM/3D platforms, MS Office Suite.
• NCEES Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in active standing required.
• Possess a strong understanding and knowledge of advanced technologies industrial manufacturing facilities and equipment layout. Systems include, but not limited to, Gases, Chemicals, Specialty Waters, Wastewater Treatment, and Wastes used in high-tech manufacturing facilities.
• Proven experience in basebuild and/or tool install processes within advanced technology facilities.
• Strong understanding of industry-specific codes, standards, and regulations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams and clients.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to live and work in Albany, NY. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.
