Senior Materials & Process Engineer
The Level IV Engineer is an expert in their area of expertise. They lead M&PE engineering and project management activities of the highest scope and complexity to improve Moog product materials, analytical approaches, and special processing to meet the needs for global customers.
Responsibilities:

• Create, develop, and lead initiatives and activities to improve Moog product materials, analytical approaches, and special processing to meet the needs for global customers.
• Manage long term, multi-site, process development and implementation projects to support operating group growth.
• Recruit, motivate, train, and develop staff to maintain an effective workforce capable of meeting M&PE objectives.
• Formulate, coordinate and gain acceptance for annual budgets or capital projects to secure the resources necessary to achieve agreed work programs.
• Champion MP&E strategic planning changes to optimize customer support and services.
• Guide the development of technical training programs for materials, processes, and analytical interpretation to assist the Operating Groups in meeting their objectives.
• Identify and develop emerging analytical and process technologies where implementation offers improvements.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science or Technology
• 10 years related experience

• Master of Science or Master of Arts with 8 years related experience in one of the following fields:

Materials/Metallurgy, Chemical/Chemistry/Electro-Chemical, Electrical/Electronics, Polymers, Welding, Ceramic, Physics, Industrial and Mechanical, Nondestructive Evaluation, Forensic Chemistry. NDE field also requires Level III certification

The base pay range for this opportunity is $106,725. - $169,250. per year. The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
