Senior Partner Decision Scientist

We're seeking an analytical, driven and results-oriented individual to join the Partner Decision Science team. In this role, you will use your analytical and strategic experience to create data-driven business recommendations that develop and deepen relations with our Credit Card, Personal Loan and Auto Loan partners, ranging from startup fintechs to the largest financial institutions in the world. This role has high visibility and will contribute meaningfully to Credit Karma's revenue growth.
You'll work on analytics for Easy Apply API which reduces application friction. You'll contribute to building out frameworks for evaluating decisions and product trajectory. And you'll do all of this within a high growth technology company whose mission is making financial progress possible for Credit Karma's members.
What the job entails*
- Be the critical bridge between banking / fintech partners and the Credit Karma data science platform. Help some of the biggest financial institutions in the country work with the CK modeling platform.
- Work hand-in-hand both with the internal data science teams, as well as partner risk science teams to integrate and build decision science models on the CK platform.
- Build strong relations with data science and credit risk teams at financial institutions, ranging from VP-level executives all the way to hands-on data scientists.
- Thoroughly understand the capabilities of the Credit Karma machine learning platform, and help drive requirements as well as directly enhance Karma's capabilities.
- Optimize and guide the partner model building and analytics process, in order to achieve optimal results. Coach partner risk teams on machine learning capabilities provided by the CK platform, while getting in their shoes and speaking their language
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in math, data science, engineering, business, marketing, finance, or economics from an accredited college or university
- 3-5 years of financial services, consulting or a similar strategic or analytical experience
- Proficient in SQL/Python
- Experience with digital funnel and/or product analysis is strongly preferred
- Experience interfacing with teams at Financial institutions preferred
- Familiarity with credit bureau data is preferred
