Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Business Partner

Spinrite is the largest craft yarn and sewing thread company in North America. As an industry leader focused on driving growth and execution excellence, we are looking for a Financial Planning & Analysis Business Partner to join our growing Finance team.
Reporting to the Director of FP & A this individual will be responsible for supporting Spinrite Operations, Sales, Marketing, Digital and Finance functions by providing data-driven decision capability through forecast, budgeting, and detailed business analysis support.
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Own the development and maintenance financial models, data analysis and business insights to support operations.
  
• Responsible for model driver development, data input, collection, and validation.
  
• Assist in identifying risks and opportunities within financial models and analysis.
  
• Own the development and maintenance of gross margin reporting for all business users (actual and forecast)
  
• Identify and support efforts to establish and improve scalable business processes.
  
• Assist in the preparation of monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and long-range Financial Planning.
  
• Assist with financial analysis for special projects - such as, acquisition, divestiture, financing analysis or due diligence.
  
• Provide ad hoc analysis and perform other duties as required.
  

Qualifications:

• Excellent problem-solving skills
  
• 3-4+ years' experience in a Financial Planning and analysis role
  
• Advanced proficiency using Microsoft tool suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems and BI software (i.e., Visual Manufacturing, Global Financials and Power BI)
  
• Experience developing financial models.
  
• Experience with analysis of large quantities of data
  
• Post-secondary education in business or accounting; MBA or CPA preferred but not required.
