Sr. Network engineer - Palo Alto firewalls and Juniper switches experience
We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer with extensive experience in implementing and maintaining Palo Alto firewalls and Juniper Switches. This is a remote job and we are looking for a resource in the Austin, TX area.

- Responsible for configuring, installing, and managing various network devices and services, such as firewalls, routers, switches, wireless access points, and load balancers
- Monitors the performance of the network and ensures network availability and reliability
- Develops and updates network documentation and network maps
- Manage, configure and monitor the current network infrastructure including components such as switches, routers, and firewalls
- Manage, configure and monitor the wireless infrastructure including components such as network access control devices and access points
- Firewall administration and overall network security
- Performing upgrades to the network
- Excellent documentation skills
- Good Team Player
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience implementing, maintaining, and monitoring computer networks that support wireless network services, video, data, and voice
- Masters or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Strong experience with Palo Alto firewalls
- Extensive experience in handling Juniper networks switches and wireless systems
- LAN / WAN / WiFi knowledge and experience of TCP / IP protocols
- Strong technical knowledge of network encryption
- Commanding experience in network concepts such as LAN/MAN/WAN topologies, VLANs, subnetting, QoS, etc
- Palo Alto firewalls, Juniper networks switches and wireless systems, BGP & OSPF, VMware NSX-T using VxLAN overlay routing, TCP-IP subnetting, DNS and DHCP
