Job Description and Duties
This position is located at the Sacramento DMV Headquarters.
Under the direction of a Manager II, the Senior Motor Vehicle Technician reviews, analyzes, processes, and resolves the more complex/difficult customer issues/conflicts pertaining to requester accounts. Performs thorough Quality Control review of workloads completed by AMU staff with an emphasis on the application renewal/approval process & the assigning of correct levels of access to each requester. Reviews applications for completeness & ensures the information complies with the Department's policies, regulations, vehicle codes & procedures pertaining to the processing & billing of accounts. Identifies trends in order to establish & implement appropriate procedures & training plans. Maintains various spreadsheets reports in order to ensure unit workflows are tracked & processed in a timely manner. Participates, as a technical expert, in special projects & assignments aimed to provide faster, more efficient service to AMU’s internal & external customers.

The Salary Range shown is the minimum and maximum for a full-time appointment. Moving and relocation expenses will not be reimbursed for this position.
